Blood Orange Mint Mocktail

Serves 1 Prep Time 30 minutes

Ingredients

Blood Orange Mint Mocktail

1 cup Fresh squeezed blood orange juice (approximately 3 oranges)
¾ cup Non-alcoholic beer
½ tsp Simple syrup (recipe below)
1 tbsp Chopped fresh mint

Simple Syrup

1 cup Granulated sugar
1 cup Water

Instructions

Blood Orange Mint Mocktail

  1. Juice oranges and pour into measuring cup.
  2. Add chopped mint to the juice and stir.
  3. Let steep and chill in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Pour through a sieve and into chilled serving glass.
  5. Add chilled beer and simple syrup and stir to combine.
  6. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy!

Simple Syrup

  1. In a small saucepan bring water to a boil.
  2. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes stirring often.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool in saucepan.
  5. Pour syrup into glass jar or bottle.
  6. Store in the fridge for up to 1 month.
