Beer Marinated Steak Tacos

Serves 4 Prep Time 10 minutes | Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients

1 Bottle of beer
¼ cup Olive oil
¼ cup Fresh lime juice
2 tbsps. Brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
1 tbsp. Cumin
½ tbsp. Chili powder
2 tsps. Smoked paprika
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black pepper
1 Onion, sliced
2 Garlic cloves, minced
2 lb. Flank steak
8 Flour (or corn) tortillas

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the first 10 ingredients.
  2. Place steak, along with onions and garlic in a baking dish and add the marinade.
  3. Cover and chill for a few hours or overnight, turning the steak occasionally.
  4. Heat grill on the highest setting. Place the steak on the grill and grill 3-5 minutes on each side, to desired level of done-ness.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
  6. Heat tortillas one at a time on a side-burner or place at the edge of the grill to soften.
  7. Slice the steak thinly and add to tortillas with toppings.
  8. Serve with lime wedges.
