Teriyaki Beef with Pineapples

Serves 4 Prep Time 15 minutes | Cook Time 10 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb. Boneless sirloin steak, sliced into strips ¼ inch thick
1 Medium onion, chopped
1 clove Garlic, minced
2 tsps. Powdered ginger
2 tbsps. Sugar
½ cup Beer
¼ cup Soy sauce
1 Medium pineapple

Instructions

  1. Combine beer, soy sauce, onion, ginger, garlic and sugar; pour over meat and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight, turning meat occasionally.
  2. Peel and core pineapple. Slice it into 1/4 inch rings.
  3. Preheat broiler.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and arrange in a single layer on a shallow baking pan. Dip the pineapple slices in the reserved marinade and add them to the baking pan in a single layer.
  5. Broil steak and pineapple 2-4 minutes on each side.
